Food Establishment and Restaurant Reports

From this site you’ll be able to view food inspection reports conducted by FDLCHD Inspection Program staff.  As an agent for WI Dept. of Agriculture – Division of Food and Recreational Safety program, FDLCHD conducts inspections and licensing of restaurants and retail food stores.  This includes restaurants, mobile food vendors, caterers, grocery stores, convenience stores, retail bakeries, retail confectionaries, temporary food stands, and others.  These establishments are regulated by the WI Food Code and Fond du Lac County Ordinances.

Risk Based Inspections are conducted on all facilities to assure compliance with regulatory requirements.  These inspections are focused on identifying risk factors and good retail practices.  Proper food safety handling practices are enforced by education and information shared with operators and food service workers.  Having food prepared and served safely is the key to preventing food-borne illness.

In an effort to provide transparency and public access to inspection reports, the FDLCHD will provide online viewing of the reports thru a public portal.  The online information will be limited to food service establishments regulated under the agent agreement with WI Dept. of Agriculture – Division of Food and Recreational Safety within Fond du Lac County.  Future updates may include additional establishment types such as public swimming pools and other water attractions, lodging facilities, campgrounds, recreational education camps, tattoo and body piercing establishments, and school food service programs.

Please note the inspection reports viewed through this portal are only a “snapshot” of activities viewed during the time of the inspection visit.  These reports may not be representative of the long-term, overall conditions found at the establishment.  Updated reports will be loaded as they become available.
